What We Do

 The Aladdin Client Services group sits at the intersection between the financial markets, technology and our clients. We are responsible for supporting users of BlackRock’s Aladdin® risk and investment management platform, and serve as subject matter experts for BlackRock employees, and the 160+ financial institutions worldwide that represent our external client base. Our expertise lies in an in-depth knowledge and understanding of Aladdin®, our client’s business, and the overall risk and investment management process.

  • High quality service and support: As the first line of defense, the Aladdin Client Services group partners with clients, in collaboration with teams across BlackRock, to provide solutions to a range of problems and inquiries
  • Innovative solutions: Not every question that comes our way has an easy answer. In the face of challenging problems we are creative and resourceful, thinking outside the box on a daily basis
  • Platform expertise: Our group has a broad understanding of Aladdin and the business processes it supports, as well as an in-depth expertise across specific tools and workflows

What You’ll Do

As an analyst in Aladdin Client Services, you will:

  • Solve complex, cross-functional business problems for Aladdin clients. In a single day, you will work with risk managers, traders portfolio managers, operations professionals and technology teams, via both phone and e-mail, to facilitate your client’s end-to-end investment process on Aladdin.
  • Connect teams throughout BlackRock to drive resolution of client issues. We are the first point of contact for all Aladdin-related inquiries. This often requires that we coordinate across internal groups – including our software developers, risk modelers, and a variety of technology teams – to meet client needs in a timely and efficient manner
  • Provide operational and analytical support throughout the client lifecycle. We collaborate with teams across the Aladdin Business to onboard and train new clients, while providing unparalleled service to our existing clients
  • Learn new things every day. In a short time you will develop expansive knowledge of the investment management industry, our clients, fixed income and equity analytics and the Aladdin tools and workflows. You will also develop strong technical troubleshooting toolkit, including a working knowledge of SQL and UNIX
